This book was the perfect amount of information that I needed to answer the questions that my attending surgeon pimped me on. You can read a section in less than 5 minutes and know all the high yield info on that topic. I recommended this book to all of my med school friends for their surgery rotations!
Awesome book for prepping for getting pimped in the OR. Covers most of the high yield pimp material, you'll still need to supplement if you don't want to miss a question. More than suffices for quick cramming
A good new edition to the series. At first the book seems thinner - it is, but only because the vignettes at the end of the book have been removed in this edition. The only other omission is a brief History section (chapter 5 in edition 7).Improvements: this new edition is in color. For a book that is all about quick recall, that seems to be a good feature.
The item itself is fantastic and will be very helpful for my surgical rotation! My issue is with the packaging it came in. Ordered a vacuum along with this book and it came folded weird at the bottom of the box. Not really that big of a deal but still irritating.
Highly suggest for APP or MD resident going into general surgery! Good pictures and very relevant material.
