The book is thin but chock-full of fun educational experiments and observational activities on plants, short clear explanations and helpful colorful drawings. Perfect introduction to plant science! Item description says age 8+ but even 4-5 yr olds would be able to appreciate the experiments and learn from them. 11-12 yr olds may already find it too easy especially if they've done plant science before. Highly recommended.

This is the same exact version as the one by Mike Unwin published in 1992. Excellent visuals on each page and very attractive for me and my child. Easy to follow.
