Honestly, I was bored. The initial dynamics between the brothers was interesting, but it wasn't really explored. The 2 men had the same, short conversations--Alex wanting Lily; Luc holding back. In fact, there was so little of Luc in the book, it really turned me off. Alex was the aggressor in everything, to the point that there was really no reason for Luc to even be there. The author really needed to work on Luc's characterization. I love a good, tortured hero, but Luc was so passive he was non existent. Alex was the best character in the book. He was charming, funny and decisive. As for Lily, she was OK but not especially compelling. I can't say I felt even stead in her at all. That sort of sums up the entire story for me: Not Especially Compelling.
This story was completely fun and fabulous. I loved, loved, loved this story. Lily's job was a perfect way to bring Her to Passion Lake. Each character was struggling with issues that when brought to the forefront made their bond stronger and permanent. I loved the descriptions in this story. This series just gets better and better.
I totally loved this book. Lily, Lucas and Alex to me have a great relationship going and they do have a lot of things to get over. You will need to read this great book and see what happens. Enjoy.
The more of these books I read the better they get, although I love them all. Action, suspense, and lots of romance and steamy sex. If you like this genre I recommend these books.
Great characters, wonderful world building, suspense, and kink what more could you want? Ms Shelton imbues her books with all of these. READ ONE!
I love this series of stories, as I have read the others in this series I can tell you that the author does an amazing job with the characters and have learned to love the them as they are wonderfully developed and very nicely described. An all around great story.
Another great novel from Julie. I love her books and this one doesn't disappoint. It's loaded with hot sex and love.
I can't tell you how much I enjoy the Dom's of Passion Lake series. I have read them all and anxiously await the next book in the storyline. The characters are well developed and there is lots of steam, heat! Ms. Shelton was a new author for me and I went back and purchased all of her previous stories after completing the first in the Dom's series. These are stand alone HEA books and are very well written.
